CRAIGMORISH

OVERVIEW
We are currently working on a new ‘OO’ layout based on Craigmore, an 18 arch viaduct carrying the Belfast to Dublin main line. On the layout this bridge spans almost ten feet. There are two independent continuous loops with fiddle yards at the rear of the layout. This is a club layout that will enable members and visitors to run both DC and DCC-controlled trains. Scenic sections will be created at the front and sides of the layout.

TRACK
One loop is Peco code 100 whilst the other is Peco code 75.

MOTIVE POWER
As it’s a club layout, pretty much anything can be run.

​OPERATION
The DC loop is operated by a standard handheld controller. The DCC loop uses a Gaugemaster Prodigy controller.
