The 2024 NDMRS Show
This year's show was held, as usual, in Bangor Grammar School. On this occasion it happened over the last weekend in March before Easter. There were around 80 layouts, displays and tables for model railways, figures, cars, trucks, aircraft, boats, farms, dolls houses, card gaming, building kits, paints etc. There was a flying show with drones, radio-controlled rally cars and trucks plus lots of places where visitors could get their hands dirty building, painting and using their imagination! Trade stands were selling everything needed for your modelling hobby and specialists were there showing how they did it. It was a fun weekend for all the family.
Here are some photos from the biggest model show on the island:

In the library you could find the compact 'O' gauge layout 'Dargle Road' created by NDMRS member Ken Vernon.
Newtownards-based Northern Card Gaming were well represented at the show. Their members demonstrated and taught a range of skills and hobbies including trading card games, model making, role playing games and kit building together with associated paints and accessories.
